Northern Secwepemc te Qelmucw Stewardship PortalWeytk
Welcome to the Northern Secwepemc te Qelmucw (NStQ) Stewardship Portal, a referrals management and land use planning system providing online access to natural resource information for NStQ Natural Resource staff. By reducing staff workload and simplifying access to spatial data, the Stewardship Portal will allow NStQ to make significant progress towards effective and timely management of our traditional territory.
The Northern Secwepemc te Qelmucw (NStQ) Joint Resources Committee is a coordinated effort between Stswecem'c Xgat'tem (Canoe-Dog Creek), T'exelc (Williams Lake), Tsq'escen' (Canim Lake), and Xats'ull/Cmetem' (Soda-Deep Creek) to build collaborative natural resource governance capacity and support community stewardship initiatives. Where stewardship areas or interests intersect, the Joint Resources Committee provides a forum for discussion of appropriate action. The four NStQ communities are represented on the Joint Resources Committee by community Natural Resource and Treaty staff.
